We have also acted on a Consultancy basis to carry out process reviews and software implementations and can provide Off Shore Fund data (Reporting Fund Regime).

Karrie Tilburn, Managing Director
Karrie started her career in the industry at Brown Shipley in the Valuations team. This soon led her to become involved with Probate Valuations and then later with CGT. She was involved in a huge data cleansing project and coordinated the implementation and migration of data to CGiX.
Her next project was at Kleinwort Benson who are still currently our largest client as lead CGiX implementation analyst. This then became the start of the business and eventually for Kleinwort Benson to fully outsource their CGT administration to us. Karrie is ATT qualified and an ACSI member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Abi Ostler, Office/Training Manager
Abi started her career in Finance at National Westminster Bank trained in all areas of retail banking administration eventually moving in to Customer Services at Yorkshire Building Society. She then switched to private bank Brown Shipley & Co where she worked her way up to Senior Manager for Custody and Corporate Actions also completing her Prince 2 qualification.
Abi then took a role as a Project Manager for Aviva Life & Pensions responsible for delivery within IT/Change before joining Karrie at KAWC. Abi is an ASCI member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Tom Shaw, Operations Manager
Tom began his career in Investment Management working for Brown Shipley private bank as a Senior Administrator within the CGT & Corporate Actions team before moving to Brown Brother Harriman & Co as an Operations Specialist.
He contracted at Seven Investment Management covering the Head of Tax position and then gained valuable experience within middle office Operations at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch. He joined the team at KAWC as Operations Manager in 2016.
Becky Smithson, Business Development Manager
Becky started her career in Investment Management as a Settlements Clerk for Albert E Sharp before moving to TD Waterhouse and becoming Deputy Settlements Manager. She then joined Brown Shipley & Co as Corporate Actions Manager later on adding CGT to her responsibilities.
She has also had roles at Fyshe Horton Finney as Business Support Services Manager (Contracts & Settlements) and Special Projects Manager before joining the team at KAWC to undertake business development of existing client relationships and procure new ones. Becky is a Chartered MSCI member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
Hayley Day, Client Relationship Manager
Hayley started her career in banking in a role as filing clerk for Kleinwort Benson soon becoming Head of Portfolio Data Administration.
After meeting Karrie while she was undertaking the project at Kleinwort Benson she was asked to join the then new KAWC team as Client Relationship Manager and still maintains that relationship with KB today.
Krisztian Kato, Investment Technician
Krisz started his career as a Controller & Analyst for ExxonMobil in Budapest before moving to the UK in 2016 and joining the KAWC team as an Investment Technician where he has turned his hand to Capital Gains Tax.
Dan Chaplow, Investment Technician
Dan started his career as a Financial Analyst for BOC UK & Ireland before moving to Singapore as Compliance & Business Development Executive for AAM Advisory Pte Ltd for 12 months. He has now returned to the UK and joined KAWC as an Investment Technician rapidly gaining knowledge of CGT administration.
Natalie Patton, Administrative Assistant
Natalie has considerable experience within the IT industry spending over 15 years as an Internal Account Manager. She has recently joined the KAWC team to offer administration support for the office and the Operations team.
